    Can I install the CD-ROM on any operating system?
    The CD-ROM is supported on Windows 9x,NT,2000,and XP platforms. All other platforms are not supported at this time.

    How do I install the CD-ROM on a Network (Network users only)?
    Installing the CD-ROM on your network is simple and fast.
    1. Create a shared folder on the network
    2. Copy the entire contents of the CD-ROM to this shared folder
    3. Double click the FolioCD file in this shared folder
    4. Select "Network" on the license agreement pop-up form
    5. Enter the network password and any state passwords into the passwords pop-up form (these passwords are obtained through MyFolio)
    6. Create a shortcut to the share and deploy to all clients
    NOTE: THE FOLIO CD-ROM is not functional from a shared CD-ROM drive, or tower, you must install it for network use as specified above.
    Can I un-install the CD-ROM Application?
    Yes, there are 2 uninstall options
    1. Use the Windows Add/Remove programs tool in Start/Settings/Control Panel to remove the CD-ROM application
    2. Delete the C:\FOLIOCD directory and delete the following files INFO.SLL,INFO.FPT,INFO.CDX from the C:\WINDOWS or the DATA directory of the network share that was created (use CTRL F in windows)


    Edit Facility
    I edited a facilities record, re-ran the query, and the facilities updated information was not there, what's wrong?
    To successfully make changes to a record you must exit each field that is edited, by using the TAB key, and the save these changes. Finally you must re-run the query and your changes will take effect.

    Edit Doctor

    I edited a doctors record, re-ran the query, and the doctors updated information was not there, what's wrong?
    To successfully make changes to a record you must exit each field that is edited, by using the TAB key, and the save these changes. Finally you must re-run the query and your changes will take effect.

    Browse
    How do i view my edited/added doctors/facilities in the "Browse All" tool?
    In the "Browse All" tool you will notice there is a drop down list box in the upper left hand corner. This is highlighted to "Doctor's Last Name" by default. To view your edited/added records, simply click on the drop down list and you will see options for Edited Doctors and Edited Facilities, choose whichever applies.

    I edited/added a record and tried browsing it in the "Browse All" , "Edited Doctor/Facilities" tool and my records showed up as incorrect (junk) data, what's wrong?
    Remember, to view the correct results of your edit you must re-run the query so that our database can refresh. If the query is not re-run the database is not refreshed and you will see incorrect (junk) data in the "Browse All" tool.

    Email Us
    I tried to email Folio using the "Email Us" menu option, but it wont work, what do i do?
    This can be caused by one of two problems.
    1. Your email program is not setup correctly , check with your Administrator to fix
    2. You are using an old version of Internet Explorer (less than 4.0) that does not support this email functionality. You must download the newest version of IE at www.MicroSoft.com.

    Passwords
    I tried to input a password and i got a message saying the password is invalid or expired, what do i do?
    Remember, CD-ROM passwords are only good for the date of issue. If you retrieved a password on 5/14/2008 it will expire at 11:59 PM on 5/14/2008. In all other cases, you should check to see if the password you entered was exactly what you wrote down, if you are still experiencing problems you can call us at 1-800-223-2233.
    Also note that passwords are in sync with your computers date function. This means that if your computers date is not set to the correct date that the password for your CD will not function properly.
