Confidentiality of information about individuals that visit this website is rigorously maintained by Folio Associates. Folio honors the legal requirements of confidentiality of information and privacy that apply in the United States. Folio does not sell or provide any information to third parties that identifies individual visitors or customers of its website, nor does it provide any information about individual demographics.

Folio Associates maintains a database of physicians and healthcare facilities in the Northeast United States and on a scheduled basis displays portions of this database on its website. The website contains pages where physicians may review information about their medical practice(s). This section is called “Update Your Listing” and is clearly identified. The purpose of this section is to provide easy access for physicians to review their listing, check its accuracy and make modifications or edits to the information. Each edit or modification is e-mailed to Folio Associates and independently verified. Information so obtained and verified by Folio, together with other information systematically obtained directly from physicians is considered proprietary to Folio. This information, together with information gathered by Folio data researchers and information generated from customized software programs comparing Folio databases with other medical databases, is used to produce annual Folio Medical Directories and electronic databases that are sold or licensed, principally to health care professionals for efficacy in completing medical transactions.

Customers ordering Folio products online by credit card will be linked to a secure server maintained by Card Services International. Privacy is maintained by encryption technology and full disclosure of all orders will appear for review before transactions are processed.

The Folio website contains links to related sites through partnerships and advertising agreements. Although Folio researches linked sites for their professionalism, Folio disclaims any responsibility for the privacy policies or practices of these sites and strongly recommends that the privacy statement of each linked site be reviewed when the site is visited.
